Amber Rose opened up about the serious conversations she had with her nine-year-old son, Sebastian, on Emily Ratajkowski‘s High Low with EmRata podcast.
“Don’t be scared,” Rose said to Ratajkowski. “These kids, if they don’t learn from you, they’re going to learn from TikTok and Instagram.”
She told Ratajkowski that since so much of their lives are publicly available online, her son will eventually start Googling her and said that it’s best to start the discussion beforehand to avoid any possible misinformation.
Ratajkowski shares her 23-month-old son Sylvester Apollo with her ex-husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard.
Rose said on the podcast that another kid told Sebastian that his mom was on OnlyFans. She found out and later had a conversation with him about it.
After commenting that the other child’s parents were ignorant for judging sex work, the model shared that she told her son that she had to make money to support her family during the pandemic and that women should be able to do what they need to do to make that happen. She also told her son about her past as a stripper.
Rose shares Sebastian with her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa. She is also the mother to 3-year-old son Slash Electric Alexander Edwards, whom she shares with ex Alexander “AE” Edwards.
Last month, Rose talked about not wanting to be in a relationship again on the Sofia with an F podcast hosted by Sofia Franklyn, saying that she doesn’t want anyone around her kids anymore.
