In Beyoncé‘s “Sorry,” she said, “he better call Becky with the good hair.” This was alluding to Jay-Z‘s alleged cheating scandal. Queen Bee created much of her album Lemonade to address this, but we still don’t know who the supposed mistress is.
Amber Rose has a hunch of her own: Gwyneth Paltrow.
“I definitely think that Gwyneth Paltrow is ‘Becky with the good hair.’ I really feel like she’s the one who was, like, f—ing Jay-Z. They were like friends, and then, like, you don’t see Gwyneth Paltrow with Beyoncé anymore. But like Beyoncé’s still with Jay.”
Paltrow’s rep called People, saying the accusations are “completely absurd and 100 percent false” and that the three are still friends.
“Gwyneth and Beyoncé and Jay Z are still very close friends so none of this makes any sense,” the source said.
However, Rose wants everyone to take what she said with a grain of salt.
“Bruh we were joking on a Podcast!” she reportedly tweeted. “I have no information about anyone’s Personal life.”
Previously, fashion designer Rachel Roy was also accused of being Becky after posting an Instagram photo with the caption, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self-truths, always. Live in the light #nodramaqueens.”
She later addressed the rumor after Beyoncé fans inundated her page, “I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that. There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors.”
