Amber Heard was granted her restraining order against Johnny Depp on Friday by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carl H. Moor — the order requires Depp to stay 100 yards away from Heard.
Heard reportedly filed a domestic violence restraining order against Depp on Friday, arriving at court in Los Angeles with her lawyer, Samantha Spector, and with photographs showing bruises she claims she received from Depp throughout their marriage.
Judge Moor granted Heard’s request and ordered Depp to stay 100 yards away from Heard until a hearing is conducted on June 17.
The judge also ruled that Depp shouldn’t try to contact Heard and gave Heard the right to live in the family home; however, the judge rejected some of Heard’s requests, including that Depp attend a year’s worth of anger management classes and stays away from one of her dogs. The judge argued that there was an “insufficient showing of need to protect pet dog.”
Heard’s filing Friday detailed an alleged history of abuse throughout her relationship with Depp.
“During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me,” Heard wrote. “I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him.”
Depp, 52, and Heard, 30, married in February 2015 in a private beach ceremony on Depp’s private island in the Bahamas. They have no children together.
