A video was given to TMZ Friday showing Amber Heard and Johnny Depp fighting in their kitchen, a video that Heard denies having released.

HEARD DENIES SPECULATION THAT SHE PROVIDED DEPP VIDEO

Heard filed for divorce from Depp in May of this year, and reports of domestic abuse were later brought to light. The alleged abuse became a new legal issue when Heard filed for and received a restraining order against Depp just days after the divorce filing was announced.

Now a video was released, filmed on Heard’s phone, of Depp seemingly drunkenly stumbling around the couple’s kitchen. Heard can be seen in the video, and is heard apologizing for an unnamed reason. Depp pours a large glass of wine and Heard asks if he’s had the whole bottle just that morning. Depp responds angrily and seems to notice the camera filming him, at which point he grabs the phone and the video becomes jumbled.

Sources say the video is “heavily edited” and that occasionally Heard can be seen smiling and “egging him on.”

“I am not responsible for the release of the video,” Heard asserts in a statement. “It was not what I wanted and I am doing what I can to force the media to take it off the internet.” She continued, “It is for that reason, and my desire to make the healthiest choice for myself, and hopefully for Johnny, that I am attempting to resolve this matter in the most private way possible.”

Because Depp was unaware of the filming of the video and did not give his permission, it is probable that, if submitted, the video will not be used as evidence in the couple’s upcoming court case. TMZ reports, however, that “the tape is specifically entered in an exhibit in Amber’s case.” The date of their hearing has been postponed until Wednesday while lawyers complete their depositions.
