Amanda Bynes faced numerous charges stemming from a bond-throwing incident at her New York apartment, but the case has now been dismissed.
Bynes, 28, allegedly threw a bong out of the window of her Manhattan apartment back in May 2013. Police had arrived at her unit after responding to complaints about a disorderly person. Bynes was ultimately arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and criminal possession of marijuana.
The charges have been dropped because Bynes has complied with a judge’s orders to receive six months of counseling, reported E! News. She’s also managed to go without having any further incidents.
Bynes has also received a new, valid license after having hers suspended in August 2012 when she neglected to show up at court dates following a DUI arrest.
Since Bynes completed her in-patient therapy, she’s committed to taking her career in another direction. Earlier this year, she enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
