Allison Williams in Giambattista Valli
Allison Williams attended the launch of the Parker Foundation’s Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy in Los Angeles Wednesday night.
Williams hit the red carpet at the event in a Giambattista Valli Spring/Summer 2016 Couture dress. The tea-length gown featured a full blue and white skirt and a patterns top. Williams paired the sleeveless number with blue pumps.
Incidentally, Williams 28th birthday fell on the date of the event. The actress took to Instagram with a picture of herself with Katy Perry, who came prepared with party materials.
“Celebrating 28 and the formation of the (Sean) Parker Foundation with the most thoughtful birthday enthusiast,” Williams captioned the picture. “She brought party props to a gala so it would still feel like my birthday. Love you forever @katyperry ❤️ ps: great photobomb by Peter Jackson.”
The pals also posed together on the red carpet, with Perry calling Williams over to her as the cameras flashed.
With Girls coming to an end after next season, everyone is wondering where each of the characters will end up. For Marnie, Williams just hopes that the lessons that she’s learned will stick.
“What I hope is that the lessons she learned in [‘The Panic at Central Park’], even if they’re not right on the surface like they were, that they leave a lasting impression on her and that she realizes so much of what she has been looking for externally needs to come from within. I think she already has learned that.”
