Alicia Keys Thrilled To Be A Mother

She's a five-time Grammy winner, but nothing beats the feeling of motherhood for R&B singer Alicia Keys.

Keys, 29, gave birth to her first child, Egypt Daoud Dean, on Thursday in New York. The proud mother took to Twitter a few days later to express her delight at the event. "There is no word to properly describe LOVE, to describe BLISS, to express a FEELING like this!!!" she tweeted. "Thank U 4 your love, support and prayers!" she told fans.

Husband, music producer Swiss Beatz, was equally thrilled. "Much love for all the support everybody been showing but I want to shout out my Wife for being bigger then SUPERWOMAN!#GODSGIFT" he said. The happy couple have been married for three months. "I'm so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww!" Beatz continued. –AMY LEE
