Alexander Skarsgard Welcomes First Baby With Girlfriend Tuva Novotny

During Monday’s red carpet premiere for season four of Succession, Alexander Skarsgård, 46, confirmed he is now a father with girlfriend Tuva Novotny, 43.

The actor received a stuffed animal for the baby, thanking reporters when they congratulated him on the news.

The couple has been very private about their relationship, not even revealing how long they’ve been together.

This is Skarsgård’s first child and Novotny’s second. Novotny has a 16-year-old daughter, Ella Lersbryggen, with her ex, Nicolai Bjerrum Lersbryggen.

During an interview in 2017, Skarsgård explained that he was excited to become a dad someday, stating, “I want to beat my dad. He had eight, so I better get cracking, I guess. My dad is 65 and had a kid four years ago. I was born in the ’70s. My dad had in the ’70s, the ’80s, the ’90s, in the 2000s, and in 2010.”
