Alexander Skarsgard has never been bashful about showing some skin during filming, but the actor took his nudity policy to a whole new level on the True Blood finale where he went full-frontal lounging on a beach chair – in the snow.
True Blood’s season 6 finale didn’t end with a bang; it ended with one of the show's most beloved villains Eric (Skarsgard) spontaneously bursting into flames. The vampire is on holiday in Sweden, basking naked in the rays of sun that found him out in the middle of the snow in the midst of mountains while reading a book. All of the sudden, his flesh begins to burn, forcing him to rise up in agony and expose himself before the flames wrap around him and the camera zooms out as he falls to his knees.

The jury is out as to whether Eric is really dead, and if resident True Blood bad boy hunk Skarsgard is leaving the hit HBO fantasy series. Regardless of whether or not this marks the end of the character, the scene will certainly be remembered for its bold costuming decision. And it was Skarsgard last scene on the HBO series, he’s likely pleased with how his character was last shown.
