The 30-year-old, U.S. women’s soccer superstar Alex Morgan and her husband, the 31-year-old  L.A. Galaxy midfielder, Servando Carrasco, are expecting their first child, a baby girl, in April.

On Wednesday, Morgan made the special announcement by posting a beautiful maternity pictures on Twitter with the following caption, “we are already in love and we haven’t even met her yet. Newest member of the Carrasco family, coming soon.”

“ALL THE TEARS OF JOY” the U.S. Soccer Women National Team congratulated the couple. “The #USWNT (and Carrasco) fam is growing and we could not be more excited! Congrats alexmorgan13 and Servando!”

The soccer club L.A. Galaxy also joined the celebration and shared a picture of the couple holding a letter board sign that read, “adding 1 more to the fam… April 2020, baby girl.” and congratulated them, “congratulations Servando and @alexmorgan13.”

The couple met at the University of California, where both played soccer and got married on New Year’s Eve in 2014. They are excited to welcome a new member to their family.

Despite her pregnancy being due three months before Tokyo Games, Morgan still aims to be on the field for 2020 Summer Olympics.
