Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have finally sold their Los Angeles condo for $4.35 million after multiple listings.
The two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom unit in the prestigious Sierra Towers building, once home to their daughter Kelly Osbourne, marks a step closer to the couple’s long-anticipated move back to the U.K.
After listing the condo for $4.8 million in May 2023, the couple ultimately accepted an offer slightly below their asking price. The 2,300-square-foot condo boasts a spacious primary suite with an oversized walk-in closet, and a second en suite bedroom that doubles as a “perfect guest room” or office, according to the property listing.
The listing also highlights the rarity of “a fully renovated custom residence of this caliber” in the exclusive building, complete with high-end finishes.
While the Osbournes are parting with their luxurious U.S. residence, their focus remains on returning to England.
In a recent podcast episode, Sharon expressed their eagerness to go home despite setbacks due to Ozzy’s health. “Every time we’re set to go, something happens with Ozzy’s health,” Sharon said, remaining hopeful. “We want to go back so bad, but we’ll get there.”
Following his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis, the singer has faced multiple major surgeries in recent years, including spinal surgery in 2023.
These physical challenges also left Ozzy struggling with mental health. “I reached a plateau that was lower than I wanted it to be,” Ozzy explained in an interview with The Observer. “Nothing really felt great. Nothing. So I went on these antidepressants, and they work OK.”
Sharon insisted that their decision was more influenced by the changes in America as a whole, more than anything. Sharon noted that “America has changed so drastically,” while Ozzy was more blunt, citing concerns about rising violence, including mass shootings. “I’m fed up with people getting killed every day,” Ozzy said. “God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings.”
“And I don’t want to die in America. I don’t want to be buried in [Hollywood cemetary] Forest Lawn,” the Black Sabbath frontman added. “I’m English. I want to be back. But saying that, if my wife said we’ve got to go and live in Timbuktu, I’ll go. But, no, it’s just time for me to come home.”
