After Kate Middleton’s Parents’ Business Fails, Family Is Targeted With Hate Posters In Their Hometown

Parents of Kate Middleton are being harassed by a secret campaign of hate posters after the failure of their party planning business left £2.6 million ($3.2 million) in unpaid debts.

A troublemaker taped the offending posters to lampposts and trees in Berkshire, England, where the Middletons have resided for years.

Kate’s brother, James Middleton, was angered by the messages and was allegedly seen taking them down.

Suppliers were left in the dust by the sale of the couple’s company, Party Pieces, shortly before it failed earlier this year.

Debt collectors have been asking them to pay the remaining debts themselves.

The Middletons started the company in 1987, where they sold decorations and party equipment for children’s parties from catalogs.

The company’s business model was changed by the emergence of the Internet in the 1990s, which brought an opportunity for Party Pieces to sell products at home and abroad.

The company’s earnings helped the couple put Kate and their other two children through the prestigious Marlborough College, which was a tuition of £42,000 a year.

The pandemic drastically impacted the company’s profits, and the inflation crisis made things worse.

In June, the company failed, just after it was revealed that the couple had sold the company to businessman James Sinclair.

Friends of the family have claimed that Kate’s mom, Carole Middleton, had been trying to make sure that their debts were paid.

But, the couple has received criticism from suppliers accusing them of leaving invoices unpaid before the company failed.

There are some locals who disagree with the Middletons being on the receiving end of a smear campaign.

“Carole and Michael are incredibly popular. Everyone is horrified by these posters. It’s unfair to do this in their home village, just yards from where they live,” a local explained to The Sun.

“Their son James lives nearby and so does [Kate’s sister] Pippa who has moved around there recently with her family, so they all have to be confronted by this.”
