After His Company Yeezy Got Millions In A PPP Loan, Kanye West Announces Plan To Build Multi Million-Dollar Wyoming Home
A day after it was revealed that Kanye West was given a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan for his shoe company Yeezy, West has received an approval to build a multi-million dollar mansion in Wyoming.
West had his plans approved by official in Cody, Wyoming and includes permission for him to build a 10 bedroom home on his 52,000 square foot ranch named Monster Lake Ranch. He had purchased the ranch when he was traveling to Wyoming to make music back in 2017. West and his wife Kim Kardashian currently own a mansion in Hidden Hills, California valued at $60 million.
The PPP is part of President Donald Trump’s $2 trillion CARES Act which is designed to help give economic relief to those who were affected by the coronavirus. The loan was worth somewhere between $2 million and $5 million, and Yeezy said that this loan saved 160 jobs. Yeezy is listed as being an African American business by the United States Treasury.
The couple is very close with the Trump family and over the weekend West took to Twitter to announce that he will be running for president in the 2020 election. Many have speculated that this is a way to deter young and black voters from voting from Democratic candidate Joe Biden in order to help Trump get a second term in office.
West and Kardashian have both recently been labeled as billionaires with Yeezy making $1.5 billion last year and Kardashian scoring big Coty bought stake in her cosmetic company. West celebrated his wife’s achievement on Twitter on June 29.
He wrote, “I am so proud of my beautiful wife Kim Kardashian West for officially becoming a billionaire
You’ve weathered the craziest storms and now God is shining on you and our family
So blessed this is still life
So I made you this still life
We love you so much”
