After Her Home Burns Down, Paris Hilton Volunteers At Animal Shelter For Pets Displaced By L.A. Wildfires

As the fires in Los Angeles continue to rage, reality star Paris Hilton helped her local community by volunteering at the Pasadena Humane Society.

After the Palisades and Eaton fires broke out and burned down her Malibu home, Hilton headed to Pasadena to help the community. On Jan. 13, Paris posted a video of herself assisting the Pasadena Humane Society on her X account with animals found after the wildfires.

During her speech, she revealed that one cat without a collar had been found in Altadena, California, and had been in the shelter for “the last four days.” The Eaton fire heavily impacted the area where the cat was found. In her post, she added, “Please share with anyone from the Altadena area so we can reconnect this baby with his owner! His animal is A519218.”

Hilton’s nonprofit organization, 11:11 Media Impact, has contributed to the shelter’s efforts to raise money to help the displaced families and pets who have lost their homes to the wildfires.

“Every donation makes a difference in providing emergency relief, housing, and supplies. If you can donate or volunteer, the Pasadena Humane Society is an incredible charity to support!”

On social media, Hilton posted that she had volunteered at Baby2Baby in Montebello, California. The post included several images of her and her husband, Carter Reum, with those impacted at different locations. In one of the pictures, Hilton revealed that she is currently fostering a dog named Zuzu, whose family abandoned her after their home was destroyed.

“Fostering is an important way to help when you’re available,” she wrote in her post. “If you can, please consider giving needy animals a temporary or permanent home.”

Numerous L.A. residents have been assisting with rescuing animals and shelter work as the fires continue and animals remain displaced. The Pasadena Humane Society revealed on Jan. 8 that the shelter has taken in over 300 displaced pets.
