After Elon Musk Brings Sox X To Oval Office Press Conference, Mom Grimes Says Her Son ‘Should Not Be In Public Like This’
Singer Grimes shared on social media her dissatisfaction that her ex-partner, Elon Musk, brought their son, X Æ A-XII, to a White House press conference.
During a press conference inside the Oval Office on Feb. 11, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to further empower Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Musk and X stood next to Trump while the X CEO talked about his recent work for the government and his plan to fire thousands of civil servants.
The child was photographed climbing on his father, whispering to Trump, and shoving his finger in his father’s ears while he discussed reductions in the workforce at government agencies. He also made funny faces and jumped on the ground.
On Tuesday, one user on the platform X stated that Musk’s child was “very polite” during the conference and that the Tesla CEO “raised him well,” while tagging Grimes.
“I did not see this; thank u for alerting me,” Grimes told the user. “He should not be in public like this. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”
On Jan. 20, Musk brought X on stage during a victory rally for Trump.
After the president praised the X CEO’s recently launched rocket, his son ran on stage to run around the legs of his father and the new president.
Musk went to speak, and X bounced beside him in front of a laughing audience.
Musk jokingly stated that his son “just followed [him] on the stage here,” noting that he is “a very enthusiastic supporter” of Trump. The child then waved at the audience.
