Donald Trump Jr. gave a shout-out to Kimberly Guilfoyle, congratulating his ex-fiance on her job in Greece.
He wrote on X, “I am so proud of Kimberly. She loves America and always has wanted to serve the country as an Ambassador. She will be an amazing leader for America First.”
President-elect Donald Trump shared the news on X Tuesday, declaring, “Today, I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Kimberly Guilfoyle as the United States Ambassador for Greece.”
He continued, “For many years, Kimberly has been a close friend and ally. Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics, along with her sharp intellect make her supremely qualified to represent the United States and safeguard its interests abroad.”
“Kimberly is perfectly suited to foster strong bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our interests on issues ranging from defense cooperation to trade and economic innovation,” Trump added.
He closed the message, “Congratulations Kimberly!”
In her own statement, Guilfoyle wrote, “As ambassador, I look forward to delivering on the Trump agenda, supporting our Greek allies, and ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity.”
Host of Fox News for years, Guilfoyle studied international law and was previously a prosecutor in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Guilfoyle and Trump Jr. began dating in 2018 and were engaged in 2020, though this was not revealed to the public until January 2022.
In July, Trump Jr. celebrated their 6th anniversary on social media.
Earlier this year, images surfaced of Trump Jr. having dinner with another woman. Neither Trump Jr. nor Guilfoyle have made any comment about their separation. On Tuesday, it was reported that Trump Jr. is now officially dating Bettina Anderson, a Florida socialite.
