Following allegations of sexual misconduct and subsequent absence from Hollywood, actor Armie Hammer is now launching a new podcast.
In 2021, Hammer, 38, was accused of sending disturbing messages to women on social media who had been in relationships with the actor. These messages reportedly conveyed his desires for BDSM and cannibalistic activity. He was also accused of rape by a woman named Effie, though the police investigation of the incident was dropped due to “insufficient evidence.” Hammer has denied all allegations.
The Social Network actor announced The Armie HammerTime Podcast on Instagram on Monday. He said it will serve as a “chronicling of putting my life back together.”
“Some of you are going to love this, and some of you are going to f–ing hate it,” he proclaimed. Hammer said the podcast would feature long-form conversations with various guests.
The first guest on the controversial podcast is actor and comedian Tom Arnold. The two men discuss their experiences with addiction and fame, as well as their individual journeys to redefining their careers.
In the inaugural episode, Hammer maintains his claims of innocence and details the “resentment” he initially felt toward those who have distanced themselves from the actor.
