A&E To Air Bill Cosby Special: ‘Cosby: The Women Speak’

The one-hour special, Cosby: The Women Speak, will air on A&E on Thursday, Sept. 17.

This special will detail Bill Cosby‘s rise to fame, and will give the women who have accused Cosby of sexual assault a chance to talk about their experiences. Over a dozen women were interviewed for the special, including model Beverly Johnson, actress Louisa Moritz and publicist Joan Tarshis.

“I think a lie always sees the light,” Johnson said in the 30-second preview A&E released on Monday.

Since the first woman came forward with claims of sexual assault in 2000, 50 more women have voiced similar allegations of sexual misconduct in one form or another over the years. For years nothing was done about these allegations, and Cosby has yet to be charged with any crimes due to lack of evidence. As the number of women who have come forward increases, however, it becomes more difficult for Cosby to ignore these allegations.

Cosby: The Women Speak will air on Thursday at 9 pm.
