Adriana Lima Shows Off $2 Million Bra

The bra has come a long way from just a support garment. Adriana Lima took the streets of New York yesterday to promote a $2 million bra designed by Damiani.

Lima wore a custom-made blue satin cutaway gown that framed the precious bra, which held 142 karats of diamonds, sapphires and topaz set in 18-karat gold and took over 1,000 hours to complete. Lima wore the "Bombshell Fantasy Bra" to a small luncheon of fashion bloggers. The supermodel, 29, who gave birth to daughter Valentina under a year ago, appeared to have completely shed any leftover baby weight.

As a veteran model, she's used to maintaining her figure. Two hours in the gym every day added to a no-carb diet helped her slim down, though she didn't mind her pregnant body. “Of course I would walk pregnant–it’s a natural, beautiful thing. I really felt like I was a goddess," she told the bloggers, according to Fashionista.com.

Lima credits motherhood with teaching her about herself, and giving her new insight into her life."Being a mom is the greatest thing that could happen to me now. Now I know what unconditional love is," she said. "I feel at peace with myself – I can’t explain. Sexiness is all about attitude.
