Yesterday two-minute snippets of every track on Adele‘s eagerly awaited new album, 25, leaked online and, working fast to soften the blow, the singer’s team has just shared a new song from the album on YouTube.

Adele Releases New Video In Wake Of Recent Album Leak

Check out “When We Were Young,” penned by Adele and Tobias Jesso Jnr., below.

The follow-up to smash hit 21, that went on to sell over 30 million copies worldwide, had been shrouded in secrecy and wasn’t due to come out until this Friday, but London-based store Juno Records shared clips of the new tracks online on Tuesday. Following a threat of legal action by Adele’s team, however, the clips were removed within 20 minutes.

Billboard also reported that the album had allegedly been displayed on Target shelves ahead of its expected release, but has since revealed this was not the case.

It’s doubtful the leak will hugely impact sales of the LP, however, as lead single ‘Hello’ has already gone on to hit number one across the globe and pre-sales for 25 have broken all previously held records.

Many music publications who’ve been lucky enough to hear the album in full ahead of its release have touted “When We Were Young” as its best track, the BBC music guide labeling it 25‘s “real centerpiece, and a future standard.” It even compared the track favorably to the singer’s signature hit “Someone Like You.”

25 will be available in stores and for digital download on Friday.
