Adele is admitting that she is feeling some nerves leading up to her Las Vegas Residency, which had to be rescheduled earlier this year due to production delays. She noted that getting this show running has been “highly emotional” and that she’s “incredibly nervous” to start.

She also shouted out the legendary singer Tom Jones, remembering that she saw him in the film Mars Attacks, “and thought blimey how did he get from Wales to Las Vegas.”

Even though she noted she “always” gets nervous before going onstage, Adele admitted, “it’s safe to say I’ve never been more nervous before a show in my career, but at the same time I wish today was tomorrow!”

We can all relate to having something on the horizon we’re both excited about and somewhat dreading, but that may not be a Vegas Concert series in front of hundreds of people.

The singer’s last album, 30, was released in November 2021 to acclaim and was recently nominated for two Grammy Awards in the Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album categories.

The first day of her residency Weekends With Adele, is Friday, November 18. It runs weekly at the Colosseum at Caeser’s Palace until March 25, 2023.
