Prolific singer-songwriter Adele and her boyfriend Simon Konecki initially intended to get married at Hollywood, but the couple revealed that they’ll recite their vows somewhere else: Britain.

The pair of singers were inconspicuously engaged in October, with the goal of swiftly performing the deed on Christmas in Los Angeles. However, Konecki’s relatives were unable to attend.

According to sources of The Mirror, their wedding was so unexpected that many potential attendees already had plans. Considering how the couple value their families, they canceled their initial plan.

While they have yet to determine a new date, a union between the two will certainly occur this year. East Sussex, the country home of Konecki’s half of the family, is under consideration.
