Adam Levine got sugar-bombed on Wednesday after performing for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Adam Levine Gets Hit With Powdered Sugar

The incident, similar to flour-bombing, occurred after Levine finished performing with his band, Maroon 5, for the late night talk show. Levine filmed an interview with Jimmy Kimmel before hitting the stage to perform, and, on his way out, he decided to spend some time meeting fans outside the Hollywood studio. It was then that the attack occurred. Levine was signing autographs and meeting fans when someone nailed him in the shoulder with a pack of sugar.

A stunned Levine walked away as security narrowed in on the culprit, a man dressed in a grey jacket who was put in handcuffs at the scene. The singer was clearly upset, taking off his sugar-coated sweater and throwing it on the ground. “It looked like he wanted to fight the guy. I think this guy had it planned. I twas a brown bag with tape around it, which was weird,” said witness Laura Tijerina.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that they have arrested the man responsible, Navid Farsi, for battery. Farsi not only threw powdered sugar on Levine, he also reportedly hit a few of Levine’s security guards. This is not Farsi’s first offense, according to reports, he threw a rock at Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson last week. It seems Farsi has a habit of throwing related objects on celebrities – a rock for ‘The Rock’ and sugar for the singer of “Sugar.”
