Adam Levine and Maroon 5 took some time after their D.C. Concert on Monday to meet with Christopher Warner, a 10-year-old who claims to be their number one fan.

Warner is a fourth grader with Down Syndrome and a passion for everything and anything Adam Levine related. He loves Maroon 5 so much that his teachers allow him to watch music videos as a reward for work done. One of his teachers, Avery Stanert, was intrigued by Christopher’s enthusiasm, especially after Christopher did a school report on the band, and she decided to make a video with Christpher to thank Levine and the band for inspiring the young student.

“For his informational writing project, he chose to make a poster about the band. Every day, he works to earn breaks to listen to his favorite Maroon 5 songs. I told him we could make a movie so he could let Adam Levine know about his #1 fan,” Stanert wrote in the description to the video.

Christopher’s sweet video, which shows him walking around the halls dancing and singing along to various Maroon 5 hits, went viral, and has earned over 1.7 million views. The video also caught the attention of Hot 99.5’s The Kane Show, a radio show that worked to get Christopher and his mother backstage passes to Maroon 5’s DC concert.

Christopher and his mother, Cecilia Warner were invited to the concert and meet the band backstage after the show. Upon his arrival backstage, an overwhelmed Christopher reportedly suffered a panic attack, causing him to get down on the floor with his mother. In a heartwarming gesture, Levine and his fellow band members all got on the floor along with Christopher. The radio station later shared the moment on Twitter.
