Adam Levine
Adam Levine found himself in the middle of a bogus abuse investigation after an anonymous source reported him to the police, according to a report from TMZ.
An investigation was launched last week by the Los Angeles Police Department following an anonymous call-in that the Maroon 5 frontman was abusing his model wife Behati Prinsloo and their newborn daughter Dusty Rose Levine – specifically that he hit his daughter’s face and thrown his wife to the floor.
Police threw out the case when investigators showed up to Levine’s home and found no evidence that any of the allegation was true. Thankfully for the Voice judge, the investigation is officially closed.
Levine and Prinsloo welcomed their daughter into the world on Sept. 21 of this year, and are still trying to figure out life as first-time parents. “I’ve been a parent for three weeks; what do I know?” the singer told Ryan Seacrest in an interview. “I don’t know anything, but it’s kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly. There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It’s a beautiful experience.”
Since Dusty’s birth, the couple has been spending time at home. Maroon 5 postponed their upcoming seven shows so that Levine could enjoy the joys of fatherhood with his wife and child.
