After Lea Michele posted a tweet in response to George Floyd’s death and in support of Black Lives Matter on Friday, actress Samantha Marie Ware accused Michele of making her time on Glee a “living hell.”
Michele’s tweet read, “George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter”
Ware responded to her post, “LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISION GIG A LIVING HELL?!?! CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD “SHIT IN MY WIG!” AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD…”
Ware’s tweet went viral gaining much celebrity attention and response. Actor Dabier who starred in one Glee episode in 2014 also responded to Michele’s tweet. He wrote, “GIRL YOU WOULDNT LET ME SIT AT THE TABLE WITH THE OTHER CAST MEMBERS CAUSE “I DIDNT BELONG THERE” F—K YOU LEA.”
Other Glee stars and cast-members who acted alongside Michele like Alex Newell, William Belli and Amber Riley shared memes on Twitter to respond to Michele’s tweet.
Ware starred in 11 episodes of Glee in 2015 and played character Jane Hayward.
