Actor Tom Sizemore In Critical Condition After Brain Aneurysm
Saving Private Ryan actor Tom Sizemore has been hospitalized after suffering a brain aneurysm.
The 61-year-old collapsed at his Los Angeles home around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
His manager, Charles Lago, confirmed that he is in critical condition and in a “wait-and-see situation.”
Later on Sunday, Lago stated that Sizemore was not responding to treatment.
Sizemore has appeared in several hit war and crime films in the 90s and 00s, including Heat (1995), Pearl Harbor (2001) and Black Hawk Down (2001).
The day before the incident, the actor shared a photo of himself with other cast members of Heat, including Robert De Niro and Danny Trejo, on Instagram.

He was also scheduled to teach a weekly acting class on Saturday afternoon at Harvelle’s Nightclub in Los Angeles.
Sizemore has faced legal trouble in the past, most notably for allegedly being dismissed from the set of Born Killers in 2003 after an 11-year-old actress stated that he inappropriately touched her.
The actress reportedly sued the actor in 2018, saying that Sizemore caused her permanent damage, including post-traumatic stress and drug addiction.
Sizemore denied the allegations and the lawsuit was dismissed in 2020 presumably due to Utah’s statute of limitations for sex crimes.
He was also convicted in 2003 of domestic violence charges against his former girlfriend Heidi Fleiss.
