ACM Awards 2021 Winners: Luke Bryan & Maren Morris Win Top Prizes

One of the biggest nights in country music took place on Sunday at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The Academy of Country Music awarded Luke Bryan and Maren Morris the highest honors of the night.

Bryan accepted the Entertainer of the Year Award for the third time. “What a challenging year,” Bryan said via Zoom. “But to all the fans and everybody, we’ll be back on the road doing what we love. What an amazing honor. I love you guys.”

Meanwhile, Morris was the only artist to win in two categories last night. She took home Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year with “The Bones.”

The ceremony, hosted by Keith Urban and Mickey Guyton, made history as Guyton was the first black women to host the ACM Awards. She later performed her song “Hold On.”
