The annual Consumer Electronics Show showcased the Acer Chromebook 11 CB311.
April is the CB311’s official launch window for North America as confirmed by Acer, and their latest Chromebook will enter the marketplace at $249.
Acer’s newest Chromebook iteration most closely channels the Acer Chromebook Flip in Chrome Unboxed‘s opinion, offering similar technology. However, the biggest deviation this Chromebook makes from its lineage visually is its bright blue body.
You’ll be able to choose between 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, and whether you want your laptop to have a touchscreen or not. Moreover, 2GB or 4GB of RAM will be the status quo for the machine, as this component cannot be upgraded. The 11.6-inch screen’s resolution is set to be 1366 × 768, which will be delivered through IPS panels.
A requisite microSD card reader and two USB 3.1 Type-C ports will affix the device, too. The machine will enjoy a battery life of roughly ten hours, it will support Bluetooth 4.2, and it will weigh about 2.43 pounds.
