AC/DC Announce Revised Tour Schedule With Axl Rose

AC/DC has announced the revised schedule for the band’s Rock or Bust Tour dates in the U.S. with Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose as its lead singer.

AC/DC Tour Dates

Axl Rose will wrap up touring with Guns N’ Roses on it’s Not In This Lifetime tour on August 22 in San Diego, Calif. He’ll have just a five day break before hitting the road with AC/DC. His first stop with the group in the U.S. will be in Greensboro, N.C., on August 27.

AC/DC and Axl Rose will then travel to Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Michigan, New York and Washington, D.C. before concluding the tour in Philadelphia, Pa., on September 20.

It was announced back in April that Axl Rose would serve as AC/DC‘s frontman for the remainder of their Rock Or Bust Tour, stepping in for lead singer Brian Johnson, who had been forced to suspend his touring for health reasons.

AC/DC said in a statement at the time, “AC/DC band members would like to thank Brian Johnson for his contributions and dedication to the band throughout the years. We wish him all the best with his hearing issues and future ventures. As much as we want this tour to end as it started, we understand, respect and support Brian’s decision to stop touring and save his hearing.

The statement went on, “We are dedicated to fulfilling the remainder of our touring commitments to everyone that has supported us over the years, and are fortunate that Axl Rose has kindly offered his support to help us fulfill this commitment.”
