Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 22, famous for his roles in Kick-Ass and Savages, as well as his 23-year age difference with filmmaker and photographer wife Sam Taylor-Johnson, 45, who directed Aaron in the John Lennon-inspired flick, Nowhere Boy, is now locking lips with costar Keira Knightley in Joe Wright's (Atonement, Hannah) version of Anna Karenina, screenplay by Tom Stoppard.
But it's going to take more than a little love scene to fluster Taylor-Johnson, who plays Count Vronsky in the timeless classic. "I just see it as kind of choreography in a way, like just movement, just like any other scene," the British star told Entertainmentwise.
But Taylor-Johnson's attraction to the role was more profound. "It's a beautiful, a magical love story, it taps into everyone's fears and ambitions, it's that moment you fall in love with someone or you see that someone across the room, you know instantly you leap of fate or move on and regret it for the rest of your life, and I think people can relate to that or feel moved by that."
Now that Anna Karenina, which also stars Kelly Macdonald, Jude Law, Michelle Dockery, Matthew Macfadyen and Emily Watson, is set to hit theaters on November 16, 2012, Taylor-Johnson is back filming the sequel to the movie that made him a household name — Kick-Ass 2, in which he plays the titular character, otherwise known as Dave Lizewski. Nicolas Cage and Chloe Grace Moretz will reprise their roles as Big Daddy and Hit Girl, respectively, and funnyman Jim Carrey also joins the cast. Kick-Ass 2 is set to hit theaters on June 28, 2013.
