Jordan Rodgers became engaged to JoJo Fletcher on the finale of The Bachelorette – but his older brother Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers has yet to meet his fiancee.

Aaron & Jordan Rodgers: Why Are They Estranged?

During the live After the Final Rose special that followed the finale, host Chris Harrison revived the storyline from the season about Aaron and Jordan no longer having much of a relationship.

Pivoting, Jordan told Harrison, “No, you know, I went into this knowing that it was a TV show, and that I only had a small opportunity on camera to tell JoJo everything that I needed to in order to get to a place where we can be engaged, and family stuff is part of that,” he said. “We’re focusing on moving, getting my bags, getting settled in a place and then getting our families together, getting our friends together. That’s what we’re really looking forward to.”

Asked whether or not she had met Aaron, JoJo was forced to admit that she hadn’t.  “No, I mean it’s the same situation that it’s been, but… it’s not the focus for us right now. It’s about us,” JoJo explained.

Throughout season 12 of The Bachelorette, an ongoing family drama was referred to between Aaron and the rest of the Rodgers family. Despite the prevalence of the topic, no one revealed exactly what caused the rift. Though there was little indication of the source of the drama, Aaron expressed his unease with family matters being made public.

“I haven’t seen the show, to be honest with you, so it hasn’t really affected me a whole lot,” said Aaron. “As far as those kinds of things go, I’ve always found that it’s a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I’m just – I’m not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition,”

Among the theories pertaining to the feud, there’s a rumor that Olivia Munn‘s appearance on Watch What Happens Live in which she discussed sex with the Green Bay Packers’ quarterback put off the Rodgers’ family.

Jordan seems to hope that by the time he and JoJo decide to tie the knot, that the feud will sort itself out and that he’ll be able to have his brother at his wedding.

“There’s no scenario in which I wouldn’t want my entire family at a wedding,” Jordan told reporters following The Bachelorette finale. “That’s something all of our family wants and hopes for at some point.”
