Aaron Carter Hospitalized In Florida With Unknown Ailment

Aaron Carter has shared an Instagram post revealing he has been hospitalized in Florida.

On Thursday, Carter shared a photo to his Instagram page showing himself laying in a hospital bed at Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast in Destin, Florida. The photo was shared with the caption “Mommas gonna take care of you,” with no further explanation as to why he was hospitalized.

Although Carter didn’t explain the reason behind his hospital stay, his mother was tagged in the photo he posted. Carter’s mom, Jane Carter, shared the same photo to her own Instagram page with the caption, “My son’s strength with what the family is putting my son through hasn’t changed in over 20 years.”

In September, Aaron spoke with The Doctors for an intimate interview about his mental health and his struggles with addiction. During the interview, Aaron was candid about his experience with drug use, his mental health diagnosis and his experience seeking treatment. “The official diagnosis is that I suffer from multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety; I’m manic depressive,” Carter shared. “I’m prescribed to Xanax, Seroquel, Gabapentin, hydroxyzine, trazodone, omeprazole.”

Aaron also revealed in the interview his relationship with huffing and heavy drug use. “I was huffing because I was really f—- stupid and sad but this is really no excuse,” he said. “I was huffing because I’m a drug addict.”

However, he ended his interview in a better place, stating that he is sober and “doing amazing.” It’s unclear whether his recent hospitalization is related to his previous health issues.
