Meghan Markle‘s popularity in Britain has hit a record low.
According to a poll by YouGov, public opinion of Markle is the lowest it’s ever been since the organization started tracking the data in 2017.
Around 65 percent of UK adults have a negative view of Markle, consistent with the last survey from February, but the positive view has slipped from 21 percent.
Opinions of the Duchess of Sussex vary by age, with 38 percent of 18 to 24-year-olds having a positive view compared to 8 percent of those aged 65 or over.
As for Prince Harry, only 27 percent of UK adults now have a positive opinion of him, and 63 percent have a negative view, which is his worst score since early 2023.
Younger generations are also more positive towards the Duke of Sussex than older people.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are favored royals, with 75 percent and 72 percent positive opinions, respectively.
William reportedly plans to strip Harry and Meghan of their titles once he becomes king.
The current monarch, King Charles III, has a fair 61 percent positive rating compared to 29 percent with an unfavorable view, which has dropped five points since February.
Meghan is second from last in the ranking, ahead of only the disgraced Andrew, who has a 5 percent positivity rating and an 85 percent negative view.
The poll of 2,222 UK adults was carried out from May 6 to 7, after Harry’s bombshell BBC interview on May 2, following his Court of Appeal defeat.
In the US, Princess Diana, who died in 1997, is the most popular royal overall, with a 79 percent positive rating and 4 percent negative rating.
Queen Camilla, however, remains tied with Prince Andrew at the bottom of the US rating table with a 26 percent positive and 33 percent negative rating.
They were the only two royals on the US list with a net negative polling figure.
