Audio from the 911 call reporting that an intruder was shot at rapper DaBaby‘s residence on Wednesday evening has been released.
According to the Troutman, North Carolina Police Department, the shooting occurred at 135 Stillwater Road in Troutman, and a single gunshot wound injured one person, but it doesn’t appear to be life-threatening.
“I shot him in his leg,” the caller said. “He’s trespassing on my property… about my name. I don’t know what he’s here for, what he’s here to take, what he’s here to do. He’s neutralized until you guys get here.”
The rapper was home at the time of the shooting when an unknown gunman entered the residence but wasn’t injured. The caller was careful to secure his weapon before police arrived, which was then taken by investigators. No charges related to the incident have yet been filed.
