‘90210’ Star Tori Spelling & Mom Candy Spelling Spotted Together On A Beach Day After Years-Long Inheritance Feud

Mother and daughter duo, Tori Spelling and Candy Spelling, have been feuding for years following the 2006 death of super producer Aaron Spelling, father to Tori and husband to Candy.

Aaron Spelling was reportedly worth $600 million and with his death, that fortune was left to his widow Candy. Tori, having been in the headlines for financial struggles, received a mere $800,000 of the estate in her father’s will.

In a 2009 open letter written by Candy, she judged Tori harshly. The two have been critical of each other in their own memoirs.

The new pictures captured of a Labor Day weekend outing at the beach appear to show a truce in the feud.

The last time the two of them had been photographed together was five years ago, in 2017, apart from the occasional pictures on social media.

In a 2014, New York Times interview, Candy revealed that the reason Tori had only been left $800,000 was due to her habit of over-the-top spending. “She would close a store spending $50,000 to $60,000,” said Candy. “I never did anything like that, she just went crazy.”

In 2009, Tori downplayed the feud after her mother revealed that she had no contact with her.

“I love my mother, I’ve always loved her and no doubt she loves me,” she told People. “There’s no feud. We simply never meshed. It’s not like we’re not talking. We just haven’t talked.”

Tori claimed that she in no way “cut Candy off” and that she is welcome to make the effort to be present in her grandchildren’s lives.

In 2019, Tori finally revealed that she and her mother had reconciled. “It’s really, really good now,” Tori claimed.
