A Trump family Christmas photo posted to social media had a glaring omission – Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, was noticeably not present.
In a photo posted to Instagram stories by Kimberly Guilfoyle, the fiancée of Donald Trump Jr., on her Instagram stories, a photo posted showed that Melania was nowhere to be found.
A spokesperson for Trump said that Melania was attending to a family matter. She was seeing her sickly mother, Amalija Knauss, who is currently in the hospital.
Her son, Barron Trump, however, towered over the rest of the family at 6’7”, stealing the show.
Melania is reportedly to step up her public appearances in support of Trump during his 2024 reelection bid. She has also made several public appearances in recent months, such as appearing at Rosalynn Carter’s funeral and a citizen’s naturalization ceremony.
Trump’s 2024 campaign has already been mired with legal issues. He has been disqualified from the primary ballot in Colorado.
His campaign had a legal victory last week when the U.S. Supreme Court refused to make an expedited decision regarding his immunity from federal charges brought against him for challenging the 2020 election results.
