50 Cent Bank Account Frozen After Failing To Pay $17 Million Settlement

50 Cent reportedly had his personal bank accounts frozen after refusing to pay a $17.2 million settlement to Sleek Audio, a headphone company.

50 Cent Private Bank Account Frozen

50 Cent lost a suit against Sleek Audio in April after the company claimed the rapper agreed to promote their product and then stole their ideas to market as his own. After splitting ways with Sleek Audio, 50 Cent partnered with SMS Audio, and is currently promoting his line of headphones there.

The case went to arbitration where a judge awarded Sleek the $17.2 million settlement – $12 million in damages and $4.5 million in legal fees.

In August, it was reported that 50 Cent planned on appealing the decision. The rapper reportedly claimed that the arbitration judge was racist and biased against him from the start. Stephen J Savva, 50 Cent’s attorney, stated that, as they await an appeal, Sleek Audio has been pursuing all bank accounts baring 50’s birth name, Curtis Jackson.

“As has been previously reported, in 2014 an arbitrator issued a ruling against him which he is currently appealing in the Florida Courts. While this appeal is pending, the company has been desperately attempting to locate and restrain funds from any account it can find bearing the name ‘Curtis Jackson,’ whether or not those accounts actually belong to Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson,” Savva told MailOnline.

While his private bank account may be frozen, 50 Cent still has access to his corporate bank accounts, and the rapper was recently estimated to be worth $140 million.

Webbie Calling Out 50 Cent

Sleek Audio isn’t the only group waiting for money from 50 Cent. Rapper Webbie released a new song, “What I Been Thru,” in which he claims 50 Cent owes him $1 million that he won on a bet. Webbie and 50 Cent reportedly bet on the Terrence Crawford vs. Yuriorkis Gamboa fight in June, and 50 has yet to pay up. “You owe me a million, don’t make me come and get it, I’m telling you I’m serious,” Webbie says in the song.
