50 Cent is a suspect in a criminal felony battery report. He allegedly threw his broken microphone into the crowd while performing in Los Angeles, hitting radio host Bryhana Monegain in the face.
The rapper was handed several broken microphones during his Final Lap Tour at Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday night. This seemingly sent him into a fit of anger and prompted him to hurl one microphone off of the stage, striking Monegain.
Instagram photos of the victim revealed a large gash on her forehead and bloody towels wrapped around her neck.
50 Cent reportedly looked directly at Monegain before releasing the microphone so he was aware of her presence.
The rapper’s attorney, Scott Leemon, has refuted this argument.
“Let’s be very clear,” he told TMZ. “My client would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.

The incident is reminiscent of a similar one involving Cardi B, who tossed her microphone at a fan while performing in Las Vegas. The victim filed a police report, but Cardi B was eventually cleared of all charges.
