4 Chilean Illegal Migrants Arrested For Robbing Bengals’ QB Joe Burrow’s Home

Four arrests have been made in connection to the burglary at Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s house last month.

Burrow’s home in Cincinnati, Ohio, was broken into on Dec. 9 while Burrow was away for a game.

On Tuesday, authorities reported that Jordan Sanchez, 22, Bastian Morales, 23, Alexander Chavez, 24, and Sergio Cabello, 38, had all been arrested on January 10 in association with the crime. Each faces several charges, including participation in a criminal gang and possession of criminal tools. They are being held on a $250,000 bond.

The men were pulled over by the police when a special agent with the Ohio State Highway Patrol saw suspicious luggage being carried out of a hotel in Fairborn into the vehicle. Upon being pulled over, the officer noted that the car reeked of marijuana and proceeded to search the car.

Inside the vehicle, authorities found “two Husky automatic center punch pools wrapped in a cloth towel behind the glove box,” as well as a Bengals hat, designer bag and an old Louisiana State University shirt, which they believed to be Burrow’s.

The men insisted that they were on their way to Florida. It was later confirmed that all four of the men were Chilean nationals who were in the country illegally.

This burglary follows a string of robberies of high-profile athletes, as in October, the homes of Kansas City Chiefs players Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were broken into just days apart.

In a press conference in December, Burrow shared, “I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one. And way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that’s all I got to say about that.”

The incident also exposed Burrow’s relationship with Victoria’s Secret model Olivia Ponton, who called 911 to report the robbery.
