2019 Tony Awards: ‘Hadestown’ Leads The Winners [Full Winners List]
The 73rd Tony Awards were held last night at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall and were hosted by James Corden. To top off the excitement of watching fan-favorites take home awards, a few meme-able moments carried the show and reminded us that theatre is as much about the fun as it is about the drama.
Corden accidentally started a playful feud between record breaking six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald and Laura Linney.
Pose‘s Billy Porter literally wore the Kinky Boots stage curtain to the show.
He also broke into an impromtu Broadway performance during the commercial break.
