2017 Grammys: Demi Lovato Leads Bee Gees Tribute, Bruno Mars Honors Prince, Adele Apologizes For Cursing

Demi Lovato led a thrilling tribute to the Bee Gees at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards by singing the famous group’s hit song “Staylin’ Alive,” first, while band member Barry Gibb watched and sang along from the audience.

Following Lovato were Tori Kelly, who belted out a cover of “Tragedy” while playing the electric guitar, and country group Little Big Town, who performed “How Deep Is Your Love” and Andra Day capping the homage off with “Night Fever.”

The tribute was meant to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever.

Meanwhile, Bruno Mars delivered a tribute of his own to late rockstar Prince, whom the “24K Magic” singer has cited as one of his greatest idols and inspirations. Mars even wore Prince’s famous purple outfit during his medley of “Jungle Love,” “The Bird” and “Let’s Go Grazy.”

Adele, meanwhile, paid homage to late British pop singer George Michael, and after cursing following a misstep during her performance apologized profusely, both immediately and during her subsequent first award win of the night.
