Taylor Swift, Robert Downey Jr. and Jennifer Lawrence were just a few of the stars who took home multiple People’s Choice Awards at Wednesday night’s live show hosted by Anna Faris and Allison Janney.

Chris Evans Escorts Betty White On Stage

The People’s Choice Awards, voted on by fans, recognized top entertainers in film, music and television on Wednesday. Captain America Chris Evans was a big hit, taking home the award for Favorite Action Movie Actor and winning hearts everywhere by escorting Favorite TV Icon Betty White on stage when she accepted her award. White received a standing ovation from the crowd, and delivered one of the best speeches of the night: “I cannot, cannot possibly say thank you…I mean, can you imagine? People’s Choice – at 93?!”

In Music, Iggy Azalea beat out her mentor, T.I., and took home the award for Favorite Hip-Hop Artist, while Taylor Swift won the award for Favorite Pop Artist, cementing her transition from Country into the Pop world. Swift was also named Favorite Female Artist and took home the awkward for Favorite Song with her hit “Shake It Off.”

Ben Affleck Wins Favorite Humanitarian

Ben Affleck was awarded the title of Favorite Humanitarian for his work with the Eastern Congo Initiative, which he founded in 2010. “The world is a scary and terrible place and bad things happen…the one way to combat the sad things we see – the terrible things we see – is to bring a little bit of kindness into the world,” Affleck said.
