Rappers Nicki Minaj and 2 Chainz both coyly confirmed that a new song, with both of them involved, is in the works.
“I don’t talk much but my song with her is goin to be a problem,” 2 Chainz’s Instagram post read.
Hours earlier, Minaj shared a picture of her sitting with the rapper from Georgia. She captioned the post, “All Ima say is YIKES,” followed by several fire emojis.
Minaj and 2 Chainz have collaborated twice before – “I Luv Dem Strippers” off of 2 Chainz’s Based on a T.R.U. Story and “Beez In The Trap” off of Minaj’s Pink Friday: Roman Reloded. Both songs were commercially successful – “Beez In The Trap” peaked at 48 on the Billboard top 100 chart.
The collaboration is rumored to be a track from 2 Chainz’s upcoming album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. The new album, originally set to be released on April 7, has been pushed back indefinitely.
Minaj is currently working on her fourth studio album and although it remains unnamed, she has released three singles off of the future project – “Regret In Your Tears,” “No Frauds” and “Changed It.”
