2 Chainz & Lil Wayne Release ‘Gotta Lotta’

Teasing the release of their collaborative project ColleGrove, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne released a track from the album, “Gotta Lotta,” on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio Store.

Rolling Stone notes its “synth-y trap” sound which combines the styles of the two distinct rappers with a notable amount of auto tune.

This is the second track from the album the pair have revealed, the first being “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday” which they premiered on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon in February with the help of the Roots and Black Violin.

Kanye West teased he is also involved in the project with the two rappers, although the extent of his involvement is unclear.

Wayne’s most recent mixtape was No Ceilings 2. He is also heard on Zayn Malik‘s “Pillowtalk.” His most recent album, released in July 2015, was called Free Weezy Album and was a TIDAL exclusive. 2 Chainz released Felt Like Cappin earlier this year although he hasn’t had an album in stores for over two years. ColleGrove was released today.
