Pam Dawber will make a guest appearance on Robin Williams’ new sitcom The Crazy Ones, providing a long overdue Mork & Mindy Reunion.
Unlike in Mork & Mindy, Williams and Dawber won’t be playing a husband and wife. However, Dawber could be playing a potential love interest for Williams’ character, reported MSN.
As the episode’s plot reveals, Dawber will play a travel memoir writer named Lily. When she holds a signing for her book Ninety Countries, 90 Dances!, Williams, as ad agency executive Simon, falls for her almost instantly. Despite the fact that Simon’s belief in love has been tarnished by the split of what he thought was a perfect couple, he takes her out on a date.
“It will be a joy to work with her again,” Williams said in CBS’s announcement. “It’s a dream come true.” Williams also posted a picture of the comedy duo on his Instagram page, captioning it, “She’s baaaaack!”
Dawber is also looking forward to the reunion. “I’m so excited to be able to see and work with Robin again,” she said in a statement. “I hear The Crazy Ones set is a very happy one. I know it’ll be a great week!”
Mork & Mindy aired on ABC from 1978-1982.
