Game of Thrones' fourth season is coming to HBO this spring, and the network is teasing the medieval fantasy epic’s next installation with a new trailer.
Readying fans for Game of Thrones' fourth season, which will premiere on April 6, HBO is debuting the new season’s trailer this coming Sunday prior to True Detective’s series premiere. Sure to be riveting, the “first extended look at the new season and features new characters and episodic footage,” according to Entertainment Weekly.
Further whetting the viewing appetites of GOT diehards, HBO released a series of Vines that show clips for the highly anticipated trailer.
One featuring Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) trying to keep the Wildlings from storming Castle Black:
Another showing a manacled Tyion (Peter Dinklage):
And a third with Daenerys (Emilia Clarke):
Game of Thrones' fourth season will pick up where season three left off in the third book of George R. R Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. Joining the cast are Pedro Pascal (The Red Viper), Indira Varma (Ellaria Sand), Michiel Husiman (Daario Naharis), Roger Ashton-Griffiths (Mace Tyrell) and a number of others.
