Maejor Ali, the recording artist, mixtape performer and Grammy-nominated music producer on albums by Justin Bieber, Trey Songz and Monica, has a new single, "Lolly," which features Bieber and rapper Juicy J. "Working with [Justin] is dope because he's such a talent," Ali told Uinterview exclusively. "He can play instruments, he can sing, he can write, rap. He can do pretty much anything."
Ali changed his stage name from Bei Maejor after being inspired by Muhammad Ali's belief in standing firm in his convictions. "He lost his title when he refused to go to [the Vietnam] war and it cost him a lot of money and his title," says Ali. "Anybody that faces losing a lot like that and still stands by what they believe, I think that's heroic. I wanted to take that spirit in my music."
