Sacha Baron Cohen Pranks Rudy Giuliani, Former Mayor Calls Police On Him

Sacha Baron Cohen pulled yet another prank after his infiltration of a far-right rally, but this time on President Donald Trump’s attorney and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani on Tuesday. Cohen came rushing into a staged interview in a pink bikini, leading Giuliani to call police. 

Giuliani went to the Mark Hotel in Manhattan for what he thought was a serious interview on how the White House was responding to the coronavirus pandemic. He told the New York Post’s Page Six that a woman started asking him questions and then he said, “This guy comes running in, wearing a crazy, what I would say was a pink transgender outfit. It was a pink bikini, with lace, underneath a translucent mesh top, it looked absurd. He had the beard, bare legs, and wasn’t what I would call distractingly attractive.” 

He added, “This person comes in yelling and screaming, and I thought this must be a scam or a shake-down, so I reported it to the police. He then ran away.”

Giuliani went on to say, “I only later realized it must have been Sacha Baron Cohen. I thought about all the people he previously fooled and I felt good about myself because he didn’t get me.”

He then revealed that he is a fan of Cohen himself, “I am a fan of some of his movies, Borat, in particular, because I’ve been to Kazakhstan.” Giuliani quoted the film, “‘She is my sister. She is number four prostitute in all of Kazakhstan.’ That was pretty funny.”

The police did arrive at the scene, but did not make an attempt to look for Cohen, who had left the hotel and was seen running in a bathrobe.

The prank comes a few weeks after Cohen had dressed up as a farmer and performed at a far-right rally where he tricked those in attendance to sing racist song lyrics about about Barack Obama, Dr. Anthony Fauci and the “Wuhan Flu.” The rally was organized by the Washington Three Percenters, a group known for previously organizing gun rights rallies.
