Kristofer Hivju, who played Tormund Giantsbane on Game of Thrones, announced on his Instagram that he is “fully recovered and in good health” from the coronavirus.
Hivju revealed that he and his wife stayed in quarantine ever since the couple was tested positive for COVID-19 around a month ago.
“We were lucky to only have mild symptoms of the COVID-19,” he said in his lengthy Instagram post. “We send our love and thoughts to all of the people where the virus has hit much harder, and to everyone who has lost their loved ones due to the coronavirus.”
In addition to his update, Hivju also encouraged his fans to be careful.
“Please remember to stay vigilant and keep your distance, wash your hands, and, most of all, take care of each other in this strange time,” he said.
